If you install a cartridge in your printer and a control-panel message displays that says the cartridge is non-HP, go to the HP anti-counterfeit website via the link below.

HP will help determine if the cartridge is genuine and take steps to resolve the problem.

If you encounter any of the following situations, your cartridge might not be a genuine HP cartridge:

  • The Supplies Status Page indicates that a non-HP supply is installed

  • You are experiencing a high number of problems with the print cartridge

  • The cartridge does not look like it usually does (for example, the packaging differs from HP packaging)
